Best known for his role in the musical sitcom The Partridge Family, David Cassidy was a famous American actor and musician. With careers in both acting and music, David appeared in over 30 movies and had an extensive discography. After nearly five decades of performing, David announced that he was battling dementia, retired, and died in 2017. His only daughter, Katie Cassidy, is probably most famous for her role in the TV show Arrow, where she plays Black Canary from the DC Universe. But, Katie’s career started earlier, with roles on When a Stranger Calls and Black Christmas for which she was dubbed the ‘Scream Queen.’ Cassidy is engaged to Matthew Rodgers since 2017.
