Bob Dylan & Jakob Dylan At Age 39

Jakob Dylan did a pretty brave thing. He decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and go into the music industry. His father is the indomitable Bob Dylan, the legend of the music scene, and Judas to the folk purists upset that he went electric. Jakob started a band called the Wallflowers in 1989. Their biggest hits include 6th Avenue Heartache and One Headlight, with the latter winning two Grammy awards. He has also released two albums, the second of which, Women + Country, reached number 12 on the Billboard 200. He’s back with the Wallflowers, and they’re due for a new album called Exit Wounds in July 2021.
