Kevin McCarthy & Judy McCarthy, Together For 30 Years

In January 2022, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s lawsuit about proxy voting measures was denied by the Supreme Court. While he has attracted throngs of critics for his comments about the administration, at least he has a rock to turn to in the form of his wife, Judy McCarthy.

The pair met at Bakersfield High School, although Judy was first interested in his friend. Kevin was able to win her with his personality and persistence, and their relationship eventually led to them walking down the aisle. Their marriage was blessed with two kids, Connor and Meghan.
