Bernard Shaw & Linda Allston – Together For 46 Years

Bernard Shaw is best known for being CNN’s lead reporter and his reporting on the Gulf War in 1991. He famously hid under a desk and continued reporting about cruise missiles flying past his window. He also moderated the presidential debate in 1988 and the vice presidential debate in 2000.
Shaw retired in 2001 but still makes appearances on CNN, most recently in June 2020, to commemorate the network’s 40th anniversary. Another anniversary he celebrated during the year is his marriage to his wife Linda Allston, who he married in March 1974.
