Mike Pence & Karen Pence, Together for 38 Years

Unexpectedly enough, Insider mentions that Mike Pence met his wife, Karen, in a parking lot in 1983. As unromantic as it may seem, they were married merely a couple of years later. While it was the first marriage for Mike, Karen had already gotten married once before to her high-school boyfriend.

As she was having a lot of success as a schoolteacher, Mike went on to start a career in politics. Needless to say, that this choice of his had a good outcome, as in 2017, he became the 48th Vice President of the United States! Of course, he couldn’t have done it without his wife.
