Kamala Harris & Doug Emhoff, Together for 8 Years

Insider mentions that Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff met each other on a blind date in 2013. We can only suppose that they fell for each other immediately since they were married by the summer of 2014. Since then, Emhoff has been by Harris’s side through all of her accomplishments.

He’s even said to have quit his day job at a law firm to support her now that she’s the Vice President of the United States. Emhoff had gotten married once before, having two children with his ex, to which Kamala is now a stepmother. She was previously the Senator of California, elected in 2017.
