Tanya Plibersek & Michael Coutts-Trotter, Together For 22 Years

Tanya Plibersek served as the Deputy Leader of the Labor Party and Deputy Leader of the Opposition from 2013 to 2019. She also lent his expertise as the Shadow Minister for Education and Shadow Minister for Women. On the other hand, Michael Coutts-Trotter is known as the Secretary of the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Working in the same field, it was not quite a surprise when Plibersek and Coutts-Trotter eventually fell in love. They have been happily married since 2000. They are parents to three children whom they raised in Sydney. Unlike their professional careers, the couple chose to keep their family lives more private.
