The first and only female prime minister in Australia’s history, Julia Gillard, is one of the most beloved Aussie politicians. Before serving as the 27th Prime Minister of Australia, this hardworking Barry, Wales native, worked as the Minister for Education. He was also the 19th Leader of the Labor Party and the 13th Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.

Gillard met her longtime partner, Australian hairdresser Tim Mathieson, in 2004, and the two started dating in 2006. But in 2021, it was reported that their relationship had ended. According to Gillard’s mother, the former Prime Minister of Australia never wanted any children.
