Greg Abbott & Cecilia Abbott, Together For 41 Years

When it comes to Texas, there’s no man quite like Greg Abbott. After being a member of the Texas Supreme Court, this American politician decided to step up and was elected the 48th Governor of the Lone Star state. He did all of that despite being confined to a wheelchair since the young age of 26.

But behind every great man, there’s a great woman… Keeping Greg company since 1981, Cecilia Phalen (now Cecilia Abbott) made history by becoming the first Hispanic First Lady of Texas once Greg assumed office in 2015. They have been together for more than four decades with just one child.
