Pauline Collins & John Alderton, Together For 50 Years

Marriage isn’t a joke, and as most celebrity relationships prove, it’s not guaranteed to last. But Pauline Collins and John Alderton have debunked that myth. They’ve been married for fifty years and are even well known for working together, most notably on a show called  Upstairs, Downstairs and its spinoff Thomas & Sarah.

Of the two, Collins is the most successful, with an awards haul that includes a Laurence Olivier and Tony Awards for her performance in a place called Shirley Valentine. She has also won a BAFTA and was nominated for an Oscar. Despite their achievements, they still live a simple life in Hampstead, London, with three children.
