Elton John & David Furnish, Together For 28 Years

It’s amazing how Sir Elton John managed to keep his gay status under wraps. Considering he’s been in the public eye since 1962, it’s amazing that it was only discovered when he came out in 1992. Maybe his glut of relationships with men and women threw people off.

Either way, it wasn’t long after coming out that he started dating David Furnish. That was in 1993, and they eventually formed a civil partnership in 2005. They got married in 2014 once gay marriage was legalized in England. Together they share two children, both born via surrogate. Sir Elton is currently embarked on a farewell tour.
