Guy Sebastian began his rise to fame by becoming the very first winner of Australian Idol in 2003. Before joining the competition, he was already in a relationship with Jules Egan. It was eight years into their romance in late 2007 when engagement entered the picture. The following year, the pair were already exchanging vows in Manly, New South Wales.
