Maureen Blumhardt already had model (posing for weight loss machines) and legal aid as part of her professional portfolio before she even married Charles Barkley, an  11-time NBA All-Star. It was during the ’80s era when the pair’s meet-cute happened at a City Avenue restaurant in Pennsylvania.

Barkley and Blumhardt’s love story wouldn’t have actually begun if they didn’t break the barrier of racial differences to be together, in spite of judging eyes directed at them. They got hitched by 1989 and welcomed their only child and daughter, Christiana Barkley, in that same year.
