Betty White & Allen Ludden, Together for 18 Years

When Betty White appeared on the Password show in 1961, she wasn’t at all prepared for how life-changing this experience would be. There, she would meet Allen Ludden. Betty had already failed in marriage twice and found it difficult to do it all over again. In fact, she actually refused Allen’s proposal twice! They eventually tied the knot in 1963, and though they didn’t have any children of their own, Betty was a stepmother to his children from a previous marriage. They were together up until 1981 when he died from stomach cancer. Betty continues on with her career, and in 2019, she voiced a character for Toy Story 4.
