When U.S. President Joe Biden was inaugurated in 2021, no one was perhaps prouder than his rock, Jill Biden. The pair were introduced by her brother in 1975, at a time when the politician was reeling from the loss of his wife and their child.

While Joe and Jill initially wanted to only have fun, his sons convinced him to marry her although she didn’t immediately give him her “yes.” Eventually, she decided she wanted to be with this man forever and they went on to tie the knot. Since they have become President and First Lady, they have found the key to balancing work and family.
