Dr. Susan Carland and Waleed Aly have been a married couple for 19 years and make up one of Australia’s most low-key celebrity pairings. Each of them are successful in their own right, though, with Carland hosting shows like the Aussie version of “Child Genius” on SBS and Aly presenting ABC RN’s “The Minefield,” tackling modern life’s ethical dilemmas.

The lovebirds got married on the lawns of Melbourne Zoo through an Islamic ceremony in 2002. Aly, who bagged the Best Personality on Australian Television in the 2016 Gold Logie Awards, and his Australian feminist author wife have two kids together.
