Allen’s account of the Alcatraz escape raised suspicions right from the start. Adding to the doubts, Allen asserted he was the brains of the operation despite his failure to escape. With only his questionable narrative to guide them, authorities were left with more questions than answers, prompting the FBI to step in and unravel the mystery surrounding the missing trio.
