Late-night interviews often leave us scratching our heads, and this one with “Charlie’s Angels” Farrah Fawcett is no exception. For shows like this, it can be difficult to tell what is genuine from what is staged.

Even David Letterman had a hard time keeping up with the late actress’s stream of incoherent tales, and many could not tell if she was acting or actually intoxicated. After all, she appeared on the program to promote her photo shoot for Playboy. The interview was the topic of conversation for days afterward, so we’d say it was a success regardless of her motives.
