Conan Schooled Jenifer Garner

When leading a talk show, hosts sometimes go out of their way to make their guests feel invincible by constantly praising them. Sometimes the host will correct the guest if they get an answer wrong, no matter how small. When Jennifer Garner appeared on Conan in 2010, it was the latter.

The proper use of the past tense of “sneak” had become the subject of argument between Garner and Conan. Conan insisted that “snuck” was correct, but Garner pointed out that it was a grammar error; O’Brien then showed her up by pulling out a dictionary to back up his claim.
