Jennifer Lawrence, star of “The Hunger Games,” is no stranger to heartbreak just like the rest of us. Seth Meyers was the object of her affection during her week-long stint at SNL, and she hoped he would ask her out.

But when that didn’t occur, she devised a scheme to ask him out on a date. Unfortunately, the wardrobe lady shattered her hopes by revealing that he was already taken. That must have been awkward for her. Even when retelling the event, Lawrence seems abashed, but Meyers handled it like a pro, and the two ended up laughing about it.
