Rio Ferdinand – Alderley Edge, Cheshire

From 1997 until 2011, Rio Ferdinand was part of the English national team, and he took part in three FIFA World Cups. He was also a member of clubs like Manchester United and West Ham United. He once had a mansion in Alderley Edge, which took a while before he sold it.

When the house initially got listed, it had an asking price of $6.19 million. Sources say the new owners got it for under $4 million. The six-bedroom estate has an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, a drawing-room, and a spacious garden. Ferdinand doesn’t play anymore today, but he works as a BT Sport pundit.
