Bernie Taupin – Santa Ynez Valley

Bernie Taupin built a massive fortune from his success as a lyricist. He’s best known for writing for many of Elton John’s songs. In the ’90s, he moved into the Roundup Valley Ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley. It’s an equestrian estate where he raised horses.

The cool mansion has five bedrooms, a studio/guest house, a chef’s kitchen, a stream-fed pond, and a swimming pool. In 2017, Taupin placed the home on the market with an asking price of $4.7 million. In the Elton John biopic titled Rocketman, actor Jamie Bell plays him.
