Bob Barker – 97

Bob Barker celebrated his 50-year television career before he retired from hosting The Price Is Right in 2007. He presented the CBS game show since 1972 but has experienced a colorful life even before that. The Washington-born Barker served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and had a part-time radio job while attending college. He then relocated to California to pursue a broadcasting career in 1950. As luck would have it, the presenter bagged the radio program The Bob Barker Show, which aired for six years. Barker, now 97, went on to host Truth or Consequences (1956-1975), and the rest, as they say, is history.
