Susan Maughan – 82

Bobby’s Girl was the song that catapulted Susan Maughan to stardom in British entertainment during the ’60s. In Christmas of 1962, the song reached the third spot in the U.K. Singles Chart and soared to No. 6 in the Norwegian chart that year.
Maughan also delved into the world of television and became a sought-after guest on shows like the Morecambe & Wise Show. Moreover, she furthered her career by being the leading star of the musical film What A Crazy World. These days, Maughan has happily settled down in Eastbourne with theatre director Nick Leigh, her husband.
