Sandie Shaw – 74

Another talent from the British music scene in the ’60s is Sandie Shaw. Her three hits, Puppet on a String, Long Live Love, and Always Something There to Remind Me, even reached No. 1 in the U.K. charts. With the first song, the English songstress made history in 1967 by being the first British entry to win the Eurovision Song Contest.
But Shaw, who retired in 2013, didn’t always have the best moments in life. She claimed that her ex-husband Jeff Banks squandered her money and abandoned her to survive in a caravan five decades ago. But as the 74-year-old celeb revealed in 2020, she had already forgiven him.
