Jasper Carrott – 77

It takes a lot to navigate a career as a singer, so adding comedy to the mix takes some guts. Luckily, Jasper Carrott seemed to handle the job just fine. And even though he hasn’t been active on the music scene since 2005, his legacy as a comedian is one reason many still remember his name.

But music and comedy are not all Carrott seems to be good at. His career achievements include several paperbacks he wrote within the late ’70s and ’80s, including “Shop! Or a Store is Born.” And during the 2022 “Jasper Carrott’s Stand Up & Rock!” he appeared onstage with his best mate, Bev Bevan.
