Drake Hogestyn – 69

Fans of “Days of Our lives” would easily recognize Drake Hogestyn for his role of ‘John Black’ on the show. After all, soap fans tend to have incredibly long memories of their favorite actors. But it may come as news to them that Hogestyn graduated from the University of South Florida with a double major in microbiology and applied sciences.

Two pro basketball organizations also drafted him. So the transition from a science major and basketball pro to a renowned actor was something no one saw coming. But after four decades in the industry, we all agree that Hogestyn is a more than capable entertainer.
