Gene Hackman, short for Eugene Hackman, is a former American actor and novelist. After announcing his retirement in 2004, Hackman focused on his imaginative writing skills. He authored fictional novels like Wake of the Perdido Star, Justice for None, and Escape from Andersonville. With the traumatic ending of his three-decade-long marriage in 1986, he married Betsy Arakawa in 1991. Hackman’s second marriage stuck, and the couple lives leisurely in their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Today, he has a wealth of $80 million.
