Sean Connery, 90, 1930–2020

Sean Connery led a decorated life as an actor since 1954, appearing as a gangster in No Road Back by 1957. He would not look back as he rose to critical acclaim, having won no less than an Oscar, an Academy Award, three Golden Globes, and two BAFTAs. The knighted Scotsman was even the star of seven Bond movies.
His wife, Micheline Roquebrune, knew that Connery’s final wish was to pass on without a fuss. She told the Daily Mail that he had died in his sleep in the Bahamas on October 31, 2020, ending his battle with dementia.
