Colby Cave, 25, 1994-2020

Colby Cave was a Canadian professional ice hockey center player in the National Hockey League. He grew to become the kind of athlete that could respond to any situation, though he required two of his teammates, Jay Leach and Anton Blidh, to improve his goal-scoring confidence and prowess.
On the evening of April 6, 2020, Cave began complaining about headaches. His condition got steadily worse, and he started to have several vomiting spells before becoming unresponsive. On April 11, he died from a rare congenital disease called colloid cysts, which caused pressure on his brain.
