On June 13, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and her best friend, Ron Goldman, were found outside her home in Brentwood, both dead from stab wounds. The American model’s ex-husband, O.J. Simpson, was the main suspect, accused of murder.

He was found not guilty and acquitted of their killings but was held financially responsible, paying the Goldman family a total of $33 million. Nicole left behind two children who she shared with Simpson. In Dave Chapelle’s return to the comedy scene in 2019, his show centered on the four times he met Simpson, calling the ordeal the most famous trial of the century.
