Erin Moran, 56, 1960-2017

Erin Moran made her name on the show Happy Days when she was only a teenager. After it was canceled, she moved from Los Angeles to the Canadian mountains in 1988. She was then in a failing marriage and suffered from depression that kept her from certain acting roles.

Moran’s last photo was taken a few years after her home had been foreclosed, and she had been kicked out of her trailer park home at a fundraiser in 2017. In an open letter after her death a year before, her husband said that she had displayed symptoms of what would be fatal throat cancer.
