Chadwick Boseman, 43, 1976–2020

The world was reeling when it was announced that Chadwick Boseman had died due to colon cancer. He will always be remembered for his box office record-breaking role as T’Challa, the Black Panther, in the cinematic depiction of the Marvel Universe. He was only 43 years old.
He had specialized in biographical films, having played James Brown in Get On Up and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall. Sources claim he knew that T’Challa might be his last role since he had been battling cancer for four years before his eventual death. Still, the Golden Globe-winner kept fighting and inspiring many.
