May Day (Grace Jones) – A View to a Kill

Grace Jones rose to fame modeling for the biggest fashion houses, including Kenzo and Yves St. Laurent. In 1977, she switched over to music under Island Records, achieving massive success and going on to release nine studio albums until the late ’80s. It was in 1985 when she starred as May Day in the Bond film A View to a Kill.
Over the years, Grace continued acting in a few films including the 2001 thriller Wolf Girl, which earned her a Saturn Award nomination. She also attempted to make a comeback in the music industry during the ’90s, but it wasn’t until 2008 when she finally released another album.
