Lotus Esprit – 1976

This beauty is what ‘Pretty Woman’ dreams are made of. Car collectors who happen to be fans of the famous romantic flick would definitely love to get their hands on the 1976 Lotus Esprit. They won’t mind as well that what was featured in the movie was the 1989 model, since this one stands out among other Esprit Lotus models.
Maybe it has something to do with it being the first and original “folded paper” design car. Despite its eye-catching fiberglass body and a steel backbone chassis, critics found the vehicle’s downside, which was its 160-horsepower, four-cylinder engine. Regardless, the car got the attention of ‘James Bond’ filmmakers; so, it replaced the Aston Martin in ‘The Spy Who Loved Me.’
