Sono Osato was a sensational dance talent, who trod the stage boards with American Ballet Theatre, the Ballets Russe de Monte Carlo and on Broadway. She danced in musical theater as well as classical ballets and even ventured into acting. After building up a considerable fortune in her savings account, she retired from dancing.  The ballerina started her own scholarship program and helps promising dancers forge careers.
