Adrienne Shelly – Homicide

Most of us probably remember actress Adrienne Shelley for the roles she played in films like The Unbelievable Truth and Trust. She was found dead on her property in New York back in November 2006, and authorities believed at first that she had committed suicide.

It was later revealed that a construction worker named Diego Pillco had been found guilty of killing her and then making it look like she had taken her own life. The 2007 film Waitress, which she wrote and directed as well as performed, was her last project.
