Leonard Nimoy – Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

His career might have started in the ‘50s, but it wasn’t until he got the role of Spock in Star Trek: The Original Series when he got the attention he deserved. Leonard Nimoy passed away at his house in Bel Air, in February 2015. He was 83 years old, battling his chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The last time he ever got to portray Spock was in 2013 with Star Trek Into Darkness. Just a year after his death, his son released the For the Love of Spock documentary about him. The last time we had seen him on TV, was in the Leonard Nimoy’s Boston documentary of 2014.
