To the day, Bea Arthur is remembered as one of the most iconic female-faces in the world of comedy. She was born in Brooklyn in 1922 and passed away due to lung cancer at the age of 86 in 2009. Her very last acting gig on TV was with an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2005.
