Alan Rickman – Pancreatic Cancer

With having such a long-lasting career, Alan Rickman was loved by all different generations. As an actor, he had such a versatility that he would appeal to toddlers and elders alike. By the time he passed away, he had played in legendary films such as Die Hard and the Harry Potter film series.

Despite his rich portfolio, Rickman himself was worth a moderate $16 million at the time of his death. He passed away after battling with pancreatic cancer, in January 2016, one month before he’d turn 70. He’s far from being forgotten though. In fact, in 2019, footage of him was featured in The Movies That Made Us docu-series.
