George Michael – Fatty Liver Disease & Dilated Cardiomyopathy

George Michael became a popular singer with colleague Andrew Ridgeley thanks to the success of their duo called Wham!. Their most popular songs were Last Christmas and Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. He also did well as a solo artist and had a hit called Careless Whisper.
In 1998, Michael publicly announced that he was gay and later devoted a lot of time to campaigns for LGBT rights. He also generously donated to charities that support AIDS victims. Sadly, he passed away back in 2016 due to fatty liver disease and dilated cardiomyopathy. His last album was Patience, released in 2004.
