Dana Hill – Diabetes

Dana Hill was the actress who starred in National Lampoon’s European Vacation as Audrey Griswold. Some of us might also recognize her from other films like Cross Creek and Shoot the Moon. She struggled with diabetes for years until it eventually claimed her life in 1996.

In May of that year, Hill went into a diabetic coma, then died of a huge paralytic stroke a month later when she was only 32 years old. Her last project was the show Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man, where she voiced a character named Charles.
