Lucy Lawless – Xena from Xena: Warrior Princess

When you’re going for an epic TV series, the New Zealand actress/singer Lucy Lawless is the one to call. She was made famous for portraying ‘Xena’ in “Xena: Warrior Princess,” but she also appeared in “Battlestar Galactica” and “Spartacus: Blood and Sand.” A versatile performer, Lawless also made it to the sitcom “Parks and Recreation” and the 2021 season of “My Life Is Murder.”

Born in Auckland to an Irish Catholic family, Lawless started performing at the age of ten, appearing in school musicals. She traveled through Europe and Australia as a young woman before winning the 1989 Mrs. New Zealand competition.
