When Wendi Peters played Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street, she already had a colorful acting career, having been trained, and her talents in singing and performing honed through plays. Although she permanently left the cobbles in 2014 to focus on other TV and theater works, she said in a May 2021 interview that given a beautiful storyline, she would consider going back.

Plus, it would be refreshing for fans to see Battersby-Brown back in Weatherfield. But this time, she would probably return looking more gorgeous with her updated fashion sense. What can we say? She certainly nailed aging gracefully, as seen in these images.
