Wendy Richard – Pauline Fowler from EastEnders

For 20 years, Wendy Richard played the outspoken Pauline Fowler in the show EastEnders. Although she was a powerful personality on TV, she faced many personal problems behind the camera, including her battle with the Big C. In her two bouts with breast cancer in the past, she would continue to film in the morning and undergo radiotherapy at night.

Despite succumbing to her sickness in 2009, her hardships weren’t evident on her face while on the show. Richard aged gracefully, and what she was going through didn’t leave her looking older than her real age.
