HALLE BERRY – MONSTER’S BALL, BORN IN 1966

Halle Berry made history when she became the first black woman ever to win an Oscar. Certainly, she’s earned her bragging rights for it. But even before she became an actress, she was a model. As Storm, the mutant called upon thunderstorms and hurricanes that made house insurance payers weep.

Berry was also the Miss Teen All-America and Miss Ohio USA before she modeled. Although she did suffer from substance abuse at one point in her life, she managed to address the problem when went in a drug rehab inpatient treatment.
