Going Indie Again

Having gained plenty of acting chops and experience with her last independent role, Decker was more than willing to go into it again with Andrew Bujalski. So when he offered her the role of Kara O’Shanahan, in the film Support the Girls, she took it without question.

It was another supporting role, and she starred opposite Regina Hall of Girls Trip fame, as well as Orange Is the New Black’s Lea DeLaria. The film was a critical and box office success, winning several awards for Hall, Bujalski, and the film’s story.
