Billy The Kid

Billy the Kid was a gunman who took part in the Lincoln County War in the 19th century. Although it is commonly accepted that he only killed eight men, he was both a folk hero and an infamous outlaw who was accused of killing 27 persons.

He was a legendary figure and is perhaps one of the most misrepresented Old West. In the Lincoln County War, he took part and killed a number of men. As a result, he was apprehended and given the death penalty. He attempted to flee but was found and shot to death at the age of 21.
