Theodore Roosevelt

One of the most notable American politicians, Theodore Roosevelt later served as the 26th President of the nation. Through his declarations, actions, and initiatives, Roosevelt expanded the powers of the presidency during his tenure in office, altering what it implied to be a president. As the nation’s first contemporary president, he dealt with several issues during his time in office, such as women’s rights, racial prejudice, and human rights.
Roosevelt was one of the most important leaders of the United states who transformed the image of the country throughout the world. He was awarded two of the highest decorations; the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Nobel Peace Prize.
