Vincent Van Gogh

Legendary Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh is revered for his brilliant colors, captivating emotions, and spellbinding beauty. He is regarded as one of the most iconic painters in history and is thought to be the greatest Dutch painter after Rembrandt.
Unfortunately for van Gogh, much of the praise and acclaim came after his death because of his lifelong struggles with poverty, precarious mental health, and poor physical condition. Over the course of his life, he produced more than 2,100 pieces, including 860 oil paintings, as well as 1,300 watercolors, sketches, and drawings. Many of his works are currently among the most costly in the entire globe.
